I have the Jenn Air pro style range and like it very much. The control pad is a bit complicated but after a couple of weeks I have figured it out and it is easy now to use and remember. THe oven preheats very quickly and the burners are quite powerful...at least for me. If your knobs are rubbing it is simple to correct -- remove the knob , loosen the screw holding the ring around the knob, and shift the ring a little bit up, down or to the side. It may take a couple of tries to be sure the ring is in the right place.

Microwave/oven combo installed in new build 2018. "F2" error message July of 2022, so whole unit out of commission. (Homebuilder has same unit, same outcome.) Jenn-air said right off the bat we'd have to wait a while for the replacement control board. Just had yet another contact with them, during which they insist there's been no recall over that part, but they still cannot provide that part (?) and would I like to put us on a list to go to an internal review board, for consideration of a pro-rated replacement unit. My 2 questions: why would we WANT another Jenn-air?? and if they can't cough up the part because of demand ... how is there NOT a recall? I asked if they couldn't "rob" a part off a set in inventory, and the tech acted like he didn't understand the question. So, here we are. Oh, yeah, and on my first contact, I gave them the model number and serial number, and they asked ME for the part #!! How would I know the damn part #???

What's funny is how so many companies use the exact same fridge made by someone else with their name on it. When we were looking a new fridges, we really liked the Jennair CD FD as well as the Kitchenaid model. Well, you can tell by opening them that they are exactly the same. Even the font and sticker placement on interior stickers are identical. We saved $500 by going with the Jennair and six months later we love it. A few weeks ago I was goofing off at an electronics store where I saw a Viking CD FD refridgerator and noticed that it too is exactly the same as the Jennair and Kitchenaid, only with a very fancy front door and handle. They were selling it for $1500 more then what I paid for my Jennair. Viking is making some nice profit on that one...

I have owned and heavily used Jenn-air ranges. In several homes different models but basically the same. Center down draft, various types of burners and grills. I had the ones that you can swap out components. I have had several of the components. The parts I liked best were the cast iron solid burners and the grill. The things that I hated extremely difficult to keep clean. The grease jar under the grill is a mess and the filter in the center downdraft is always full of grease and gunk. If you like a very clean range I don't recommend it. The grill part is also a pain to keep clean. I nearly burned down 2 houses because the grill caught fire so badly and it was impossible to put out with out a fire extinguisher. Once it got so hot it melted the grill grates into a pile of metal. Seriously! I decided that I didn't want them any more. Too messy and too dangerous. I have no experience with the other products. Oh and the downdraft is not adequate. In my current redo I have kitchenaid dishwasher, dual fuel dual oven range, and microwave. I absolutely love all of them. Fridge is GE Profile. I love kitchenaid and have been very happy with everything I have had, several dishwashers in various homes. The dual fuel dual oven range is awesome. Gas burners, electric ovens with true connection. Good luck go with known good products.
