If so, I think it might look very top-heavy and disjointed, as well as hard to get to (to open, close, etc).

I’d check with a local place to see what options and price point would be best. There are so many different types of window coverings ... google ‘shades for hard to reach windows’ ... ‘shades for angled windows’ ... ‘shutters on angled windows’ ... ‘shutters triangle windows’ to see lots of looks.

Have you priced plantation shutters yet? I’m thinking because of the angles, they might be pretty expensive.

ETA: I’m not familiar with this company, just posting for examples of various looks on angled windows. The shutters do look very nice, but I’m having a hard time visualizing them just on top, not on bottom.

If I were you, I'd check into having solar tinting applied to your windows. We did this in a sun room of a home we used to own. It doesn't change the color of the window glass, but does significantly reduce the heat as well as the damage the sun causes to upholstered furniture and flooring.
