Has anyone used LVP floor with wood kitchen lowers?

I’m doing a major remodel in a 1970’s FL home near the ocean. Taking out all of the walls that separated the living room from dining, dining from kitchen and enclosing a screen porch to become living space in the home. I have chosen mid tone wood lowers with off white uppers for the kitchen. The island will be the hub of the kitchen and will be in the same wood tone. My question is what flooring to use. I’m leaning toward LVP but don’t want the real wood in the cabinets to compete with the flooring. There will be lots of dogs and children in the home when vacationers occupy the house. And older folks as well. Oh, and’s unavoidable near the ocean no matter how you clean your feet.
Any brand names and colors would be appreciated. I am leaning toward a Karastan herringbone pattern in a dark color. The ceilings will be raised and white.
