MSI Quartz: Cashmere Carrara vs. Calacatta Vicenza OR Cambria Torquay
Comments (14)We've had MSI Arctic White for over 18mos now. I love it. Haven't had any scuffing, scratching, or staining issues. Damp paper towel takes most everything off. I use Clorox Wipes for coffee rings or berry "ghosting" and give it a good general wipe down 2x per week. We looked at a lot of the quartz "marble" looking options, but someone made a comment that the veins either look fake or resemble (leg) spider veins. After hearing that, I can't "unsee" it! ha! The plain white has been a perfect backdrop for adding color and texture elsewhere (grout, wood cutting boards, walls, etc.). I also find that I like seeing exactly how dirty the counter top is (so I can wipe it off)!...See Moresilestone eternal Calacatta gold vs msi calacutta classique
Comments (2)I can’t speak to the MSI stone, but we have the calacatta gold and really like it. It is very white and the veining is more subtle than the other fake marble quartzes we saw. It was expensive, but since we used it for our backsplash and counter we decided to splurge....See MoreMSI Calacatta Monaco - anyone?
Comments (11)thank you @MinnesotaMary! This is very helpful. Your daughter's kitchen is gorgeous. I'm glad to hear you say that there is some warmth to it because I definitely was hoping for that. Also, I want something with subtle veins because the usual Calacattas with huge grey veins doesn't suit me - this feels more "real" to me! I've been to see so many slabs including Silestone, Cambria, etc and i really wanted to go with one of the "high end" quartz brands but I keep liking this MSI one the best!...See MoreMSI calacatta monaco vs alabaster white vs calacatta Vicenza??
Comments (3)Any chance you went with Calacatta Monaco? I’m leaning towards this quartz for my countertops and would love to get an opinion from a homeowner who has it. Thanks!...See Moreflygirl519
