Design Dilemma Kitchens

rugged concrete/ couldburst

Hello y’all!
Were doing our entire kitchen and we were about to buy the cloudburst by ceaserstone (cabinets counter) and rugged concrete for island. But after reading many reviews I’m very scared it’s not practical and will show stains, fingerprints etc...
If you have any personal experience I would love to hear a feedback!
Also, our cabinets will be a Matt cashmere & walnut. Would love to hear ideas of counter top tones!
Our floor is a light concrete grey.

Can you share your experience with either one of these options?
Also, our cabinet will be a combination of Matt cashmere & walnut. Would love to hear your ideas of tones for the counter tops.

Hello - I am considering the same thing but in reverse. Rugged concrete on the perimeter cabinets and cloudburst on the island. What did you end up deciding?

Thank you for the pics.. I have never seen leathered granite very interesting option.. Astonia I am going to look at honed granite.. Putting countertops in a beach house and wanted to create a carefree surf look.. Do you think there is another option for counters?? Not a Pro. Most people want color they can see from the street. An area rug will only be seen by you and the guests that you invite over. If you are far from the street, then an area rug is for you. .I would give it a try. It will give the area tons of color for very little effort on your part. My concerns with it, would be people tripping and curling corners, if it does not lay flat. If you want color that can be seen, colorful planters, flowers and pillows is the way to go.
