Super LARGE collection of seeds.. Trade.. Anyone???
Comments (101)Today is the last day of February and the seed giveaway has officially ended. So.. no more seed request will be answered, so please don't ask it puts me in an awkward position. I would like to THANK everyone who has made any kind of donations... THANK YOU... Your kindness and unselfish generosity made this all possible:) Just shy of 1000 packs of pepper seed were sent out. With a lot of new varieties, I hope that everyone has the best grow season ever!!! PS, save your seeds maybe there will be a bigger seed giveaway next year... -Eric-...See MoreTell Us About Your Favorite Collection...
Comments (130)This is a great thread. We all love what we collect and isn't it wonderful that most of us collect something different? I collect blue and white Staffordshire Transferware from England, early to mid 1800's. I have over 100 Cup Plates, a little more or less than 4" diameter. They were used as a coaster with the handless cups with bowl shape saucer of 6" from the 1820-1850 period. Often confused with a child's plate from a toy tea set. I also have many patterns of dinner ware pieces of a specific potter E. & G Phillips, Longport England. American butter stamps, butter churns and English cream pots with dairy names stamped or transfered on the pot and numerous other things too many to list. I am just addicted to antiques and collectibles. I also clean and repair and resale and upgrade my English china. So my life is a constant buy, clean, repair, resale, collect more upgrade..etc. I tell my husband I am recycling and being green! I love, love, love what I do. I cannot imagine not ever being able to buy and also resale to share my knowlegde. I also have an extensive library of reference books and love researching everything....See MoreAnyone used Spilltech waterproof rug pads over hardwood?
Comments (3)So long as it says "Safe for Use With Hardwoods" you will be fine (as in no stains on the finish). High humidity and wool = no problem. Wool is used in damp areas (think Scottish highlands, Northern England, Wales, Norway, etc) as a way to stay warm even when wet! The wool rugs are fine the way they are. If the Spilltech prevents moisture from hitting the wood, I would say it is more likely to ruin your rugs rather than your floor. And remember: they are NOT used as 'grip'. They do not prevent the rugs from moving around. The information given is for LARGE AREA rugs (smallest being 6ft x 9ft) that are so heavy they naturally stay in place. As a "padding" it looks to be quite nice. As a moisture barrier that offers a bit more "time" should a big spill occur - it looks fine. As an "anti-slip" rug pad this fails. As for "safe for hardwood" you should be fine....See MoreMohawk RevWood Plus laminate - anyone used?
Comments (60)@dldigi I have been shopping Revwood Select and Plus. I was told that yes it can definitely be installed over tile or stone. They can't install it over wood because of potential moisture/mold issues....See MoreJ A
