Are those paint color samples from the cabinet painter/maker?

If not, matching paint chips to quartz is honestly a waste of time when cabinets are the final destination for the paint.

Because everything depends on the product used on the cabinets. That determines which colors of white are an option and the product version of that color in its gloss level is unlikely to match the target paint chip.

It will be close but not close enough for what you're trying to accomplish right now.

Thing to do is get a sample cabinet door and use that to find a quartz.

Or choose the quartz you want and match the paint color best you can to the quartz you have to work with.

Don't worry about trying to get the exact white as the cabinets, it won't happen.

There are tons of pictures w/your white painted cab color and many variations of white quartz.

just stay away from the overly creamy, or off-white selections and you'll be fine. Also, try and stick with a more quality type of quartz brand rather than a Chinese knock-off. the latter often uses a sub-standard type of resin that will yellow.

This is Calacatta Sponda. Have never heard of it, but it's got the veining you like and it's a nice bright white

One of my favorites is the Silestone Eternal Calacatta gold.

It's shown here in the Suede (or matte) finish.

I actually have this brand in the gray suede and love it.

I used real Calacatta gold marble tiles on my backsplash, and calacatta marble slab on my island. I also wanted the warmer, golden tones rather than the cool blue.

This is another option, Cambria

regular Brittanica.

As you can see, it's pretty white.

the veining in these are more pronounced

speaking of pronounced, you should look at Bentley! It's a very crisp white and makes quite a statement, especially if you like the black and white

since you said you don't have an island, you can see this selection works very well w/the visible veining.

Gladstone is another crisp white w/black/charcoal veins.

and, there is another one called Calacatta Black, but I'm not sure who makes it. It's at my local stone place. In fact, The Flip or Flop duo used it on one of their flips

I like these last few selections because it's not the same white w/faux gray marble veining that everyone and their mother is doing! This white/black quartz looks amazing when paired w/natural wood tones, textured runners, a slew of tile choices and colors

I mentioned China knock-offs. some are decent. This is a stone importer near me. They have this quartz in a pre-fab countertop. These are actually a really good price. I believe this 9' countertop piece was $500.

you'd hire a fabricator to cut it for you on scene. These are good options if you have a small countertop space.

IMO look a twhite granites a much better choice for counters for sure and there are many really nice white ones . BTW a lot of choice depends on the layout of your kichen if you are looking at any veining in the counter. The nice thing with granites is the fact that they are usually an all over patteren that works well where you have corners in the counter .

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! The photos and product names are so helpful. The Bentley would look elegant with wood, but a little too dramatic for my cape cod house. :) The Eternal Calacatta Gold has the colors I’m after. I’m guessing I’ve seen this one and ruled it out because it was too yellow?? I saw a white Viva Rocky Calacatta (photo 1) with soft, swirling veining but the veins were gray! If only I could get that with brown tones!

Here’s some unglamorous shots of the current kitchen that my husband and I are trying to update ourselves. (No judging the boxed wine and chili dinner about to be served - ha, ha! I’m not there to take new photos right now!) The cabinets will be custom, Amish-made, so I don’t have samples. I get to specify the color and thought it best to go with the white already in my house for the uppers. The lowers will be rift-sawn white oak OR white OR another color. Decided bringing in the Naval from the fireplace wall would be too dark. Layout remains very similar. Tile flooring to be determined. Ordered a box of Bedrosians Cloe tile that looks pretty in photos to see if it will work for the backsplash.

We just decided on Calcutta Ultra to go with our BM Decorator's White painted cabinets. We are using a white backsplash and this appeared to be one of the whiter quartz options with some veining but not too much. We are using Calcutta Gold in my daughter's bathroom where the colors are more natural and not as pure white.

Too much responsibility and room for error for commentators to advise you using a monitor.

Judy, I would definitely get samples and try to see slabs before ordering. Trying to keep with the white I am currently using throughout the house, but it’s proving to be tricky.

jhoff, We are on the last stage of our kitchen make over, We went with Calacatta Quartz , back splash 3 x 6 white subway, Artic White Grout, and our Cabinet Refinisher will be here all this week to finish out the Cabinet frames. The doors recoated off -site with Milesi 2K Poly, tinted to Sherwin Williams Highly Reflective White. Its been a long process but worth every dime, hopefully back to normal Saturday evening!!!

I'm not sure it has light gray streaking, but once she is finished this week I will post a picture.

we are confused between calacatta gold and calacatta ultra or mirragio.

gold looks good but afraid if we'd ever get tired of the "gold" stains.

Anyone has any opinions on ultra vs mirragio?

@hari p We considered all of these and even used gold in our daughter's bathroom. We like the ultra or mirragio for our kitchen and ultimately decided on ultra. The samples we saw had less veining in the ultra with the veining not as wide. They are both beautiful.

@Tanya, would you mind sharing why you chose ultra?
we are in the conundrum. mirragio is brighter and ultra on the other hand has speckles throughout.

We chose Calcutta Gold and love it with High Reflective White cabinets.

My problem right now is finding a paint color to match. Something warm, griege but needs to go with ivories and beige. Not very much gold in my quartz at all, just grey.

That is really pretty, @johnlisac! Thanks for the photos! Would you mind taking another one in the kitchen so I can see the edge of the quartz with the cabinets in bright light? I think the bathroom is being affected by the overhead light.

Two grieges that worked for me were Seattle Mist by Benjamin Moore and Taupe Tone 70% by Sherwin Williams. Yes, you can get tints of paint! This was after trying some of the popular ones like Revere Pewter and Amazing Gray. I’d take photos but the light coming in is yellow morning sun!

@hari p In the samples we saw, the ultra had less and more subtle veining. I think it’s just a personal choice as they’re very close

this is my friend's house, I'm in NY and my house is in Florida. My friend got the same white cabinets and Calcutta Gold. It looks different with different lights. I'm going to replace my bulbs for brighter ones. I like it better "cooler" looking. I think I'm painting the walls Wind's Breath by Benjamin Moore.

@johnlisac Just to verify, this is Silestone Eternal Calacatta Gold? It looks amazingly white. In Home Depot it looks creamy and there are never samples to take home. I’ll have to order one online. Thanks for the photos. Good luck with your paint!

This is my kitchen (I closed in September and have not seen it yet 🙄) but depending on the light, the quartz looks very warm toned, which worries me. I think I'm definitely going to change my light bulbs.

Saw a sample today and it does appear a bit creamier. Lighting really does make a difference though!

You kitchen looks great by the way. Jealous of the pantry!

I normally wouldn't be SO FOCUSED on matching my quartz but my island is huge and we have an open floor plan, so the quartz needs to tie into the entire room (or vice-versa)

Just finished up today, adding the kitchen pulls. Milesi HKR 114 2K Poly, Tinted to, SW Highly Reflective White, new Quartz countertops, new 3x6 Daltile Bright White Subway tile, with Custom building Products Artic White Grout, new 5k under counter lighting and new apron sink. So glad it is DONE!!! Worth every penny, thanks to all those who made the suggestion, and a special shout out to the person who recommended the Milesi coating, absolutely crazy factor finish!!!

The window. what you have is all very white and very solid. the mini blind is my pet peeve over kitchen windows.

let me show you a photo shop of a new window treatment, and possibly a sconce. ( realize you can't do a pendant, and I know you have the trim piece across the front. but at least look at the window treatments)

don't be afraid to add some cutting boards and greenery to the mix either
