Integrated quartz (Silestone/Caesarstone) sink ?
Comments (1)I just checked out the Silestone site since I didn't know they now made the integrated sinks... very cool concept. I wish they came in a 33" with an offset drain like the Super Single Silgranit. My only concern is this which I copied from the Silestone site: "Do not place any items over Silestone that have recently been placed over fire or a hot stove." How does that relate to draining a boiling pot of pasta into the sink?...See MoreCostco Kitchen Countertops VS Home Depot Countertops
Comments (42)Thanks so much for all of the information My biggest concern is that in as much as I am wheelchair bound I can't even take a countertop measurement myself and after 2 phone calls to Costco's " My Countertop " + 2 emails to their subcontractor in a month's time......I have given up on Costco and don't want to use a subcontractor who obviously has so little interest in doing a countertop for me I just want somebody in Suffolk/Nassau County who will do a good job installing my countertop. I am not looking to " nickel & dime " anyone on price but I don't want to get anyone who will " nickel & dime " me either. I would love to find somebody who will do the entire job well ( including removing & discarding old countertop & sink and installing new countertop & sink ) I would also like to find someone who is willing to come to my house...take professional measurements ...discuss my options to me....make suggestions if needed and show me various samples I don't think that's too much to ask and I hope that there is a good fabricator out there who could do it all for me which I will gladly pay for...See MoreCaesarstone vs Silestone vs Cambria vs Zodiaq quartz countertop?
Comments (43)We have polished Organic White countertops. We also get subtle metal marks that won't come out. These counters are just a few months old. No one else would notice it, but I certainly do. I would recommend getting a sample of the quartz you are considering and testing it yourself. Maybe we're just unlucky? Although, the number of websites that say "quartz doesn't stain" seem to be equalled by the number of websites that say "here's how to get stains out of your quartz". We haven't tried Magic Eraser and it is somewhat discouraged since it is abrasive, but we may try that next....See MoreOcean Jasper Silestone Quartz Countertops
Comments (14)E Moss mine has held up really well. It is in a bathroom, though, not a kitchen. I really like it because it does not show hard water stains nor any type of dirt easily, Generally I've been very happy with it. Someone who has it in a kitchen should answer to see if it's held up to the hard work of kitchen counters. Good luck....See MoreJeanie Brandt
