Comments (2)I am not seeing French Country, but I think your cabinets, black accents and the stone fireplace would welcome B.M. Silver Lake. I suggest you paint the fireplace mantel the white of your woodwork....See MorePaint Color Advice Please!
Comments (2)I think that painting one wall an accent color would make your room look chopped-up and small. My daughter just renovated a home and she wanted a feature wall behind the bed. Her bedroom is slightly wider than yours. She also has a window behind the bed. She used horizontal shiplap, painted white. Again, its behind the bed, only. Comments (5)Thank you very much megs1030 for those suggestions of Quicksilver and Icicle. We’ll take a look at those colors. Patricia Colwell, thanks for writing as well. Actually, our trim color will be a white - just not a stark white. It will not be a cream color. celerygirl, thank you as well for the Ice Cube color suggestion. We have a few other colors to consider now, so thank you all. Any other wall color suggestions would be welcomed. We love the idea of a grayish blue for a beach condo, just not too dark of a gray or too baby or too bright blue. Something serene and relaxing, like Reflection, just maybe a bit bolder would be ideal. We’re not too keen on greenish grays.
