Pool resurface and retiling

We are about to resurface & retile our pool. I think we have decided on Super Blue by Diamond Britt. Our biggest hang up is the tile. I think we have decided on a 1x2 glass tile and are down to the file few, but cant make a decision.

We are trying to decide between ES Royal 1x2 (Royal Essence )

ORN-Orion Peacock 1x2

And Agate Portifino Pearl finish 1x2

Does anyone have pictures of their pools with this finish &/or these tiles? I’d love to see the finished product to help make our decision.

We have a blue stone patio.

We used Super Blue years ago on a project. It's a white base with a lot of blue speckles, but the it's predominantly white. It does cast a light blue color. It;s a nice plaster.

I would choose the first tile. The coloring contrasts the plaster, but picks up the colors in the Bluestone patio best.

To me, the second one has too many variations of blue.

Here is a photo showing the tile going into the pool. You can see a bit of the original blue tile just under the new quartzite tile. Not sure how to cover that up... Here is a link that might be useful:

That actually sounds like a good price. Some companies will sandblast the old surface to rough it up then bond coat it then apply new surface. The best results for the new finish to adhere are to completely chip out the old finish down to gunite before resurfacing. Make sure you understand how they plan to go about doing it. If they are sandbalsting and you request a chip out, their price may increase because it will take more time to chip out and more material to refinish

These are trowel marks and they will come out over time. The colored plasters, i.e., grays, blacks, dark greens, tend to have color variations that's unavoidable. White based plasters have less color variations.
