Natural fiber Area Rug advice
Comments (9)I just was browsing my latest Home Decorators catalog and I saw a Faux Sisal that caught my eye. I would need to see it in person. I'm starting to think about adding a cat to the household and natural sisal is not an option, so faux may be for me. It says it is soft. I would think something like this would probably be available in the box stores. http://www.homedecorators.com/P/Cove_Area_Rug/880/ This post was edited by wendyb on Sat, Feb 1, 14 at 9:26...See MoreNatural outdoor area rug advice, please...
Comments (3)For outdoors, you want olefin. It will stand up to the moisture and UV exposure. Even a covered patio will have those issues and a natural fiber rug will get musty, moldy, and potentially have critters chomping on it....See MoreNeed area rug advice
Comments (3)Try the Visual Search feature on Rugs.com, too. If you select gray as a criteria, for instance, it will return a whole screen of options. Click on a pattern or solid that you like, regardless of shape, and the site will then offer other available sizes and shapes of the same style as well as other similar patterns....See MoreArea rug advice?
Comments (2)With the patterning in your new pillows, as well as your mirrors, I don’t think you really need to have an additional rug. It looks like you have carpeting, and you also have enough patterning and visual interest in the room. If you really want to layer a rug, though, I would suggest keeping it simple, overall,.. mainly a solid colored rug, something with some texture. . If you prefer to have a pattern, I think this one could work. btw, your glass table is nice, but if you have children, please consider using an ottoman style instead. (I always mention this to people, just in case they do have children in the place.) Lots of nice options these days, with ottomans, poufs, etc. And when needed, you can add a tray on top....See Moresonya
