Update on Most Hideous Tile bathroom makeover
Comments (11)Aaahhh, Queen of the MLS. Now that would be something! There are 8000 (yes eight thouuuusand) houses on my local MLS right now. Good luck to me... The print came from Linens and Things. I just found it a week ago. Strangely enough, finding things to go on the two bathroom walls was the biggest challenge. I went everywhere and just didn't like much. The walls around the toilet are still empty and will probably stay that way. The color on the walls, btw, is BM Horse Gray. It was part of the Pottery Barn Spring 2007 collection. It turned quite blue under the Reveal lights so I switched them back to regular bulbs to warm it up. And that is painted wallpaper. Only took one coat. Pretty amazing stuff....See MoreBathroom paint color? with taupe-pink tiles
Comments (13)I would choose a soft tone of the gray in the tile for your walls, and use a white with a barely peachy undertone. I'd paint the ceiling the same color as the trim, to keep the rosiness going. Sophisticated, calm, and coordinated. Martin-Senour "Owlet" or "Cindersmoke" on the walls, with "First Bloom" for trim and ceiling would be pretty. Farrow & Ball "Elephant's Breath" paired with "Dimity." Sherwin-Williams "Worldly Gray" SW7043 or "Amazing Gray" 7044 with "A La Mode" 7116 or "Venetian Lace" 7119. Then if you wanted something strong added, towels in pink and burgundy, or deep gray and apple green? And a little touch of shiny black - perhaps a black marble soap dish and cup, and a slender black frame for whatever you choose for the wall?...See MoreHELP selecting a colour to paint the vanity/walls for updated bathroom
Comments (3)As mentioned above the tile floor is gonna be the "issue" only because it would really limit the colors on the wall or even the vanity.. are you looking to only paint or is this gonna be a full remodel?...See MoreEasy bathroom updates for green bathroom?
Comments (18)I like the open vanity so that you can see the floor beneath it. It makes the room feel bigger than it is. I would just lighten it up with white paint and a new white countertop. I’d also hang pretty curtains, possibly cafe curtains, so that you have privacy but still have light coming in. I’d hang canvas art above the toilet with an image you love to look at to give the room some of your personality. I’d paint the walls white and use white curtains to bounce the maximum amount of light around the room....See MoreRelated Professionals
