Planted it in ground about 3 foot high & as wide. First green fruits were jalapeno shaped so I was disappointed & trimmed it back. The fruit ripened to a orangy red & its only about 1 1/2 long x 3/4 in wide 3 sided profile with rounded tip. Oh its hotter than the carribean red ouch & smells like a jalapeno noy a chinese only the juice on the knife made the dish tongue burning hot. I can handle the CR very well This was sold as a chocolate hab but I knew something was up as the leaves didn't look right Either its a cross or something else Here is a link that might be useful:

I am with juicyj...I think tomatoes like more water than peppers. I feel like peppers like a good wet / dry cycle (they need water obviously, but, like to dry out between) and tomatoes like a more steady water supply. That said, in my small garden, the two live side by side. It's only when there hasn't been any rain and I have to water that they are treated differently (I will water the tomatoes before the peppers).

Are they still in containers? Have you re-potted them? What kind of soil are they in? Josh

Bonnie Plants does indeed have some excellent plants. Until you want to get into the superhots and exotics, you could do a lot worse than source all your peppers from HD. Dennis P.S.
