Comments (10)What could be prettier on your deck than a nice pot of So Sweet? She comes up with apple green leaves and a golden edge. She rises early, so she's in full leaf by mid March. Not only is she early, but, She's vibrant as she emerges. She has that look of "class" that draws your eye, like Jackie Kennedy. She's not flashy, but perfectly symmetrical and crisply defined while the other hosta are struggling to put out their leaves. Within a few weeks, she's has made her metamorphous from golden beauty into a perfect, tight, rich, vibrant. green hosta with white edges. It stands tall, tight and beautiful - week after week. It never hiccups. It is this lovely cascading mound of green and white with perfect symmetry. By midsummer, she's sending up scapes. The scapes never droop, but always stand at attention. The near white flowers open up into a perfect star shape. She's generous with her flowers, too. The fragrance is almost citrusy and especially lovely in the evening. As the season winds down, and the other hosta start looking raggedy, she still looks good. She holds her shape and color well into the fall. And best of all.....she doesn't mind the sun or the heat. Everyone should have a So Sweet. If Aden really bred this one, he did well. bkay...See MoreDrywall company broke window
Comments (3)This is your house, you have the right to choose who does any work on it. As for him wanting the window, why is there a controversy? If he wants to sell someone a damaged window, so be it. Why is it an issue? You choose who you want to fix it, he has to pay. Otherwise, threaten a lawyer to him, see how fast he coughs up the money. The cost of the job isn't his issue to choose. You ONLY have the right to choose who does the work and if he doesn't like it, tough. Make him cough up, and report him to BBB. good luck...See Morecasing inside small closet with uneven drywall, should i even bother?
Comments (5)Here's what i did. I really didn't want to buy anything for this and luckily found ripped oak strips in my basement that fit well. All I could tolerate of sub zero were quick miter saw cuts. I glued the side and had room to nail the top one in. The other side has a 2" wide strip of shiplap I found on the lumber rack that just needed a little planing to fit right. Finishes don't match but I'm happy with it. Thanks for your ideas....See MoreAffixing drywall to refrigerator with cabinets on top
Comments (28)I agree with @cpartist too. Alot of people get kind of freaked out thinking about that dead space in the corner being wasted. It should really depend on what your kitchens needs; what type of storage you need and where you need it. I feel like you have the tall microwave cabinet with drawers underneath as well as the 24” double drawer to the left of the range for storing items like pots and pans, small appliances, oven mits, etc. The two 24” drawer bases (3 drawers) on the sides of the range could also be all your prepping tools, spatulas, can opener, pizza cutter, cheese grater, and any other misc. cooking utensils. Also the 21” around the corner could be for knives, measuring cups/spoons, small mixing bowls, foil, plastic wrap, etc,.. I would also make sure the cabinet on the end passed the DW is also a drawer base with 3 drawers. In the top drawer I would keep the silverwhere so it is handy (and out of the prep zone) for setting the table. Dishes and glassware could go in that nice big upper cabinet on that end. It will make unloading the dishwash a breeze! Even your toddler could help set table and unload the dw into their 2 little drawers underneath the silverware. How cute is that! (oh and I fixed my sentence above that made no sense lol)...See More3onthetree
