Basement flooring: polished concrete no longer an option. Alternative?

We had decided on polished concrete for the entire basement flooring in our new build (in-floor radiant heat throughout). This included the rec room, exercise area, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The floor was poured about a month ago and this week the contractor that was doing the polishing started the first steps of grinding. Unfortunately, he ran in to some major issues with the concrete crumbling at the saw cuts. He called and said he doesn’t feel he can, in good conscious, continue and charge us a for a finished product when the seams will end up looking terrible. So now we are looking for alternative flooring options. We really wanted the durability, cleanliness, and aesthetic of the polished concrete. Not to mention I liked the fact that is was a natural product and different from every other house. I guess we can go back to the standby of LVP, but I’m wondering if there is something else out there that we could consider?
