HELP arranging my bedroom! Should I put my bed in front of the window?
Comments (27)Hi everyone! Thank you so much again for your help and guidance. I thought I should pop in here for a quick update (I just hate when people post a question and never update their resolution!). It took almost 2 years but I'm finally at a good place with the bedroom decor. We ended up putting the bed up against the window because of symmetry and it also opened up a big space at the foot of the bed where we can play with our dog. We also ended up with a queen bed instead of a king. We don't mind the bed in front of the window at all. The bed has a wire headframe and barely blocks the light. We just need to hang some pictures or paintings and I think I can call the bedroom done! Thank you again for all of your wonderful suggestions and advice!...See MoreFront door - what color should I paint porch and front door?

Comments (2)Hi, I think most screened porches that have walls on the side continue with the same material to match the exterior of the house. My rental home had a screened porch and it was the same vinyl siding as the exterior of the home, similar to this picture: That said, I think you could do other materials that complement the exterior of your house but don't have to directly match. I think brick or stucco might be nice for example. I'm not sure about whether beadboard can be used or not. Good luck with your project! I'm hoping to add a screened porch to my home too....See Morewhat should I put in front of the bare wall with switch?
Comments (7)i'd put a rug and small table for seating.....looks like it was a dinette/ still a good place to sit as not everyone is comfortable for long spells at the counter...and you have a view w the glass there. look for small scale table and cute chairs.....used / craigs list/...See MoreBrittany
