Planting a bare root rose in zone 6b?

I went to Rural King today to pick up chicken feed and somehow walked out with a rose bush. 🤷‍♀️ In my defense it is one I have wanted for ages. A CL Iceberg climbing rose. They had it for $7 and I just couldn’t leave her there. Problem is I’ve never grown a climbing rose. I am in KY zone 6b. Do I just store this bare root rose in a cool unheated room until danger of frost has past? It does have 1 inch of new growth on it. Also, when I am able to plant it, what do you think would be a good clematis to plant opposite on the trellis with the rose?
