Window treatments for a box bay window in master bedroom?
Comments (5)I used a board-mounted box pleated valance on the box bay in my dining room. I screwed the board right into the soffit above the window. The way mine was framed, there wasn't enough room to hang a rod high enough to cover the top of the window trim. I made long panels of the same fabric for my living room windows. I used honeycomb shades on all the windows (not room darkening, but I did consider them). Most of the time I leave them up, but we don't have a guest room and the sleep sofa is in the living room, so privacy is an issue when we have overnight guests. Totally Confused...See MoreMaster Bedroom Window Treatments- help! (w pics)
Comments (20)West Elm curtains arrived and they are perfect!!!!!!!!!! Totally transformed our room; we are so pleased :) Thank you all so much for your help and encouraging me not to settle. (and I fully admit I do not have good decorating taste, so if you have any suggestions, I am open.) And I was really confused about what West Elm's color "zinc" was... if anyone is curious, it is a dark, metallic grey with a slight beige hue... I would rename it "Gunmetal." The material is great... I have not ironed them yet. I am hoping over the next week the wrinkles will fall out. If they do not, I will ask my mom to iron them ;) I'm horrible at ironing and also due to have a baby any day now :) :) :) Now onto finding a rug!...See MoreHelp with treatments for window and slider in master bedroom
Comments (5)You can do the panels On the slider which can be pulled aside (they can on windows too) for unibstructed view when opened. It’s also acceptable to shutter the windows with panels and then just place panels on slider. I would do three full panels testing the two windows as one large one. Have them shuttered that way as well so it’s not as choppy. The space between the slider and window i would do one double panelto dress both sides. Or you can do a natural woven shade or roman shade on double windows that pulls up and down. Neither of these will give you view unless opened all the way. Maybe if we saw more of the room we could tell you which would best suit the space....See Moremaster bedroom ideas for bed and window treatments and walls
Comments (10)It is kind of like Facebook, but only for your neighborhood and it limited to a certain area by zip code I think. You can sell things, ask for recommendations, report lost/found animals, etc....See Moreginatay124
