The moosehead will be wonderful. With that rock wall, it will be perfect. Living in eastern Washington (five miles from Idaho) moose heads are not that unusual. The leather and antler chandelier, will tie it all together. The other fabrics (especially some velvet) the lines you're choosing for the furniture, a little more carved detail (perhaps) on the wooden tables, (maybe a marble top, on an end table?) will all work with your rustic/romantic mix. Blondie- You have great taste, so go for it :) As for the sofa, check other furniture stores, but bring your picture. I'm sure there will be similar items that are much more affordable. Thomasville is not cheap, and Hemingway was their most expensive collection (probably still is).

Tape the furniture patterns on the floor. The fireplace is a long distance from the kitchen. I like the idea of mounting to the left of the glass doors. Put cabinets or shelves on either side of the fireplace, put a similar console under the tv. Float a sofa (not to big and not a sectional) facing the tv. Chairs that swivel from sofa to tv give you more flexibility and are better for entertaining. Your existing chairs can sit on either side of the fireplace. Rug under sofa and complementary smaller rug in front of fireplace will define the areas. Put a small, low coffee table in front of the fireplace. I wouldn’t put the tv over the fireplace. The furniture you will have to put in front will take up the space you need for walking between outside and the library. That would be too much going on. Put solar shades over the glass doors if you are worried about light. Now, if you don’t have a place for a kitchen table elsewhere or are entertaining board game players, then put a round table and chairs near the kitchen and the sitting area near the fireplace with the fireplace mounted tv ( make sure you have a way on that fireplace to hide wires and manage heat).

Ill attach pics and more info in case you might have some more suggestions. -First of all- there are 3 of us, we travel a lot- so we aren’t all here together normally but when we are we like to entertain and use this space to host people for dinner and drinks. We have all been out of town, so please excuse the Christmas tree - The focal point is one of the problems with this room. We do want a TV in here so trying to decide to put it on the wall adjacent to entrance or on wall next to bay windows. We also want a bar cart, with fig leaf/palm tree wall paper, I’ve attached an example. - All the furniture is mismatched and just put in here for the time being. May keep the TV table, but that’s really it for the room that we are considering keeping. - We plan on ceiling to floor curtains, just haven’t finalized a color scheme. Also considering painting room lighter.

If accurate in your drawing, I am assuming you are leaving the space behind the sofa for a walk way. I’m not in favor of that because everything is off-center. Position the rug directly in the middle of the room, sofa on long wall, love seat under back windows and to balance the two seater on the other end, add two chairs. Ikea piece to the right of the fireplace and something above it to balance the window. Remove the brown table left of fireplace and add a smaller Ikea piece in white for this effect: (except mirror goes over larger piece).
