Click if interested! -Sunday morning racing, remembering Jim Nabor's tradition of singing "Back Home Again in Indiana" at the Indy 500 for so many years. 1988's Indy 500 opening song - Sunday morning, so hope ya'll can appreciate a short little rootsy gospel music even if you don't swallow the whole religious and/or afterlife concept. Comments (36)Since you asked, yes, Dedtired posted Jimmy Rodger's "Kisses Sweeter Than Wine" early in Part I and I posted Bobby Vee's 1960 version of "One Last Kiss," although there is also a different song with the same title. Before Roxsol posted it, I was unaware that Cher had covered this song by Betty Everett: This was one of my favorite songs in 1964. Betty Everett was the first artist to chart with this song, and it went to #1 for her. Merry Clayton had recorded it a year before but did not chart, for some reason....See MoreLars
