Here's a picture - it's not a great one b/c it's an "accidental" picture that I happened to have on this computer. Comments (4)Thank you for all the positive support! I really appreciate it - I think the freak out was mostly about the stress of building a house in general. Comments (9)If you would like something that is pure white you should look at crystal diamond from technistone it is only one of two companies that have access to pure white quartz What you are seeing is the use of off white quartz in the products to explain the colour different in white from most manufactures they have the following generally 1) Dirty white - it looks like a cream off white, this is due to the off white quartz used as well as most will use something like Titanium dioxide, Zinc oxide or a combination of both. for the metal oxide or color. 2) Blue white - is still the same off white quartz, though they generally add very small amount of cobalt to the mix. The same way surf board manufacturers add blue to the clear resins to make the whites brighter. Also some quartz manufactures will not use titanium or zinc but something else to get the whiter color. The only two companies that have access to pure white quartz is Technistone and Silestone. Why their whites are whiter and more pure. Technistone has the whitest of whites on the market...See MoreWhite Kitchen Counter top dilemma
Comments (22)"I’d love to do a bold pattern, but I haven’t found one that doesn’t look dated."-well what can I say..lucky you))) ('cause I've found so many-but would leave me broke lol. Still obsessively think about some. depends on a house of course..I'm lucky to have a house that beg for tiles. And I myself am a tile person. And a pattern person. So we met each other. Me and the house. We met each other-and then compromised...)) Please share your progress as you go, if you feel like it..we'd love to see how it all comes together!...See MoreRelated Professionals
