Comments (8)I love Pale Oak BM or Balboa Mist BM... Sherwin Williams has some great shade of paints too. Egret White Sherwin Williams is almost exactly like Pale Oak BM Zurich White is very similar to Classic Gray BM Here are some images of what the paint looks like Agreeable Gray Sherwin Williams Shell White SW (I think this would look great with navy blue) crushed ice sw Mindful Gray Sherwin Williams...See MoreExterior paint suggestions please
Comments (5)Beautiful house. The new windows are quite white. I'd choose new white paint that is almost but not quite as bright white as the new windows to repaint the stucco. The same brown color you have now on the wood trim would be an excellent choice again. Have the company trim the shrubs so that their tops are a foot below the window sills and a foot away from the walls. The plants need air to circulate and the painters need room to move....See MoreCabinet paint suggestions please!
Comments (43)Those are beautiful Herb and I would add if someone likes grays these can be easily incorporated into a cohesive color scheme, using the 60-30-10 rule to determine proportions of ea. color. One of my favs is golds, grays + whites. Its the gray upon gray upon gray that starts to look a bit funereal. Monochromatic schemes can look good, but they need to make up for lack of color variation with a good mix of different lights and darks, tones, textures, etc. Dont see that in so many of these gray gray and more gray threads. In the case of OP Ive seen blue gray + red-orange + white done in an intentional way that looked great (Ikea used to have a lot of that in fabrics etc. not sure what they have now) Maybe just apply that color scheme to the kitchen and call it a day?...See MorePaint suggestions please!
Comments (6)Suggestions: --Restain the wood siding. The wood tone goes well with brick and roof, which others have said. --Match garage door to wood stain. This can be done with garage skins or wood cladding, though do a search on how well those hold up. You want to make the garage door blend in with the house and guide the eye to the left so the emphasis is on the house and not on the garage. --Restain or replace driftwood fencing so it goes with wood stain on the house. This will make the house look bigger. --Repair and skim coat the driveway in same golden color it is now. --Plant beautiful, professionally designed landscaping on the house side as seen in the houses below to make the entryway more inviting. The whole section from the house to the edge of the garage should be a beautiful garden of shrubs, perennials, grasses, and hardscaping. This is the palette to go for. Note how well the smooth driveway sets of the house. --Paint your front door something other than white or stain it....See MoreBeth H. :
