A large plant, with a swivel chair in front of it. Have you considered window treatments? If you don't want anything else on the windows, then the plant is even more important.

I am responding because no one else has. What kind of room is this? A living room? Are you asking what colors look nice with that trim because you are tired of white? With that color trim and the nice blinds, a greyed-down green often looks nice. I can't tell what your flooring is on my screen--is that carpet? Are you happy with it? If you have any money left in your budget, I'd recommend new flooring OR a large area rug pulling your colors together....and a new light fixture in place of the fan.

Put in a large leafy plant in the corner where the mirror currently is. Will soften the room a bit. Then get another piece of framed art for the wall to the left of the window above the left chair. You could also push the chairs further into the corners and get a larger coffee table between them. P.S. I'd also bring in a large square coffee table for the sectional. Those C-tables are fine, but put them on the ends. If you don't want to cover up the hide on the floor, get a glass or acrylic table.

To start I need to see all four walls of the space and why is the furniture not facing the FP. IMO if there is a TV in the space I would remove all the shelving form the left side get a nice low cabinet and mount the TV above the cabinet so the TV and the FP can share the focal point.
