Options: LVP, laminate, or cork for a kid’s bedroom?

I’m laying new floor on top of hardwood and an underlay. It’s for my son’s room, and we’ll have big area rugs on top. This will be a DIY project. I’m leaning toward SmartCore vinyl plank from Lowe’s or possibly waterproof Pergo. Cork is also a possibility but I’m not sure how that will go with the rest of the house, which is mainly hardwood with some gray wood look laminate in the kitchen and basement family room.

Here’s the SmartCore under consideration: https://www.lowes.com/pd/SMARTCORE-11-Piece-5-in-x-48-03-in-Lanier-Hickory-Luxury-Vinyl-Plank-Flooring/1000844538

And the Pergo: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Pergo-6-14-in-W-x-3-93-ft-L-Vintage-wash-oak-Embossed-Wood-plank-Laminate-Flooring/1002832296

Shaw: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Shaw-6-34-in-W-x-47-84-ft-L-Pepper-Embossed-Wood-plank-Laminate-Flooring/5000197203

Cork: https://www.icorkfloor.com/store/cork-flooring-plank-12mm-autumn-leaves/

Any reasons to choose SmartCore vinyl plank over Pergo or Shaw laminate? Waterproofness issues? We have a budget of approximately $1K for the 14x 15 room. I’m also not the most handy and am looking for an easier install. Thanks!
