Sorry to distract from your main question, but how much space do you have between your stools and couch? I was debating a similar layout, but wasn't sure how much space I really needed and how that compares to the typically recommended aisle sizes.

1. Determine the height of a chandelier Measure the distance from floor to ceiling and multiple by 2.5. The result will be the optimal height of the chandelier. For example: the height of the room is 12 feet. 12 x 2.5 = 30. The height of the chandelier should be about 30 inches. 2. Determine how high a chandelier should hang If you are placing the chandelier above an open floor, the bottom of the chandelier must be at least 7 feet from the floor. If you want a chandelier that don't need a lot of space in your room. Another approach should be to dining room chandeliers and kitchen island lighting. If you are hanging the chandelier above the dining table, the bottom of the chandelier should be 30-35 inches from the tabletop. 3. If you are placing a chandelier for kitchen island, you can also choose the size of the chandelier based on the size of your dining table. We recommend that the width or diameter of the chandelier be between 1/2 and 2/3 the width of the dining table.

It is a lot of lights. We were back and forth about it. My customer blew up balloons and hung them from the ceiling and decided she really liked the bold size. Behind the island is a 48"sub zero and a 60" pantry so she liked having the larger size. I really like how it turned out. It's bold and different. It's not for everyone though.

From the description you link, it says they have a minimum hanging height of 30.5. If your island is standard 36" high you'll have 29.5" at most between counter top and bottom of pendant. They sound big, but without seeing a picture or floorplan or knowing your height, we don't know how they'll impact sight lines etc. If this is your existing house, I'd do a test run by blowing up a couple of balloons to about the same size and hanging them on strings to the minimum hanging height. That's how I tested for a new fixture in my old house. I moved the table under it and we had dinner to see how the height of the globes felt.
