No to that floor IMO both the color and the rustic type style are all wrong. BTW what is the flooring in the rest of the house? IMO you never put fake wood next to real wood.

IMHO the floor should also relate to your countertop color. Notice how your countertop color has pink in it? I personally love the floor style and color but agree with the other post about either using it wherever the old wood floor appears or go with linoleum or tile instead.

I hate glue down or mastec on my floors if I can at all avoid it. Would that flooring work throughout your home?

You can also put a beige and red rug in the kitchen that would help tie the floor to your cabinets.

The flooring runs through the whole first floor which we’ll be replacing. We have carpeting on the second floor. Thank you!

Any reason why refinishing the floors is not an option?

The floors have water damage from a slab leak and are old and tired. We have already patched damaged sections in the past and feel that it would be difficult to do so again.

LVP is a good option, since you have experienced water damage I can see why you are hesitant to replace with hardwood.

Hello, I have not. I actually have given it a break for a bit because I was getting overwhelmed trying to figure it out. I think since they have red/orange tones I was considering a natural light red oak. This was helpful to see what warm tones may work together. please let me know what you find.
