I don't think you really want to have an ottoman that is equidistant from every seating spot on the perimeter. It would be ungainly and look like an island. We have an L-shaped sectional that is 12 feet long on one end, and over 9 feet long on the other. Our ottoman is a 44" square and I think the proportions look right. We do not really eat or drink outside of our kitchen and DR, so the purpose of the ottoman is really for feet and reading materials. We also have a sofa table behind the 12' side. (our sectional is in the middle of the room, not against any walls. Looking at your layout, I might envisage an ottoman that is right justified in the bottom corner, inside of the sofas. You can also put a table in the dead corner or behind one of the sofas, although given where your TV is I am not sure you can really do that, since pushing either sofa out might obscure part of the TV. Do you own both sofas? I think you may want one of the sofas a wee bit smaller.

Well, I think it's hard to know whether the room will be overly crowded or cluttered without knowing the size of the room or seeing a picture, but to me, and this may be just my own opinion, but I think if you have a coffee table and an ottoman in the same room, the coffee table should be larger than the ottoman. Does that make sense to anyone else but me? Also, I just wonder if you even need a coffee table with such a big ottoman. You could put a tray on top of the ottoman and still have room for feet!

Actually, it's your sofa on the left facing the chairs and possibly the love seat that need a table. The sofa facing the love seat has tables on each side therefore one in front isn't really necessary. You could take the table from your last layout, rotate it and place it closer to the sofa facing the chairs. Place a small table (very small) or garden stool to the right of the love seat for that person to place a drink on. Another option would be two storage ottomans that can be moved around depending on where someone is sitting. If the tops are firm enough a glass can be set on them when your feet aren't!! ;)

Don't know what town you're in but ( Home Goods, Ross, TJ MAX, Cost Plus. or Pier 1) I'm a home stager and these are my favorite stores to find ottomans and coffee tables. If you check Home Goods or Ross twice a week you'll find what you'll looking for less than $300
