I just finished a remodel last month and chose the 48" Majestic. It is a beautiful range. I'm still getting used to it (and ALL the oven modes!) I love it, but my only issue is I'm having trouble finding a true simmer burner. Again..may just be me being a neophyte with it, but I'd check into that if it's important to you. If anyone has more insight..I'd love to hear it too!

Hi everyone, I bought my Ilve 48 inch propane range in 2020. The design is beautiful and fits to my decor. I had a new kitchen put in and really didn’t start using it until close to the end of 2020. Unfortunately right after the warranty expired the large oven element broke right before the holidays. It’s fixed now but I am very disappointed in the oven since we barely even used it. We had to wait 8 weeks as the parts are made to order. When the repair guys replaced the element, the stove had spaghetti wiring. They easily pulled out of the connections and were only attached on the styrofoam backing. Hopefully they have addressed this and cleaned up their wiring. A friend ordered Bertozzoni and told me they had spaghetti wiring but were able to purchase an extra package to neaten everything up. I don’t know if others are starting to see problems now after 4 years being on the market. Love to hear from others.

Love the look; works well. Before buying, be sure whoever is installing it has experience with Ilve. They are new to our area, and installation of our 48" Ilve (which was supposed to be the "star" of our completely renovated Edwardian kitchen) has been nothing short of a nightmare. The 20-something installer from Jack's Appliances who "installed" it hooked it up to the gas line and then left us with a large box of "parts" for us to deal with -- the scroll legs, self-cleaning oven panels, rotisserie parts for both ovens, gas adapter (???) for the griddle. I couldn't be more disappointed than if I had a Mercedes delivered with the tires sitting on the curb and told to figure it out. It took a full four weeks for them to look at a cell phone pic and determine that, yep, the self-cleaning panels were not installed in the oven. Ya think??? We're not at 7 weeks and counting. Time to cut my losses and find another installer. :(

I love the look and have read great reviews, but have yet to find a dealer aside from Wayfair, and and nervous about ever needing repairs etc. I’m in Alberta.
