Comments (15)hmm. i guess theres no way to edit original postings (or there is and im just not seeing the way). anyway, ill repost the photos in this post. so apparently there are at least three types of bushes on the rental property's front and sides. ÃÂ there is this (boxwood): ÃÂ then theres this second type. it has nasty thorns that i forgot all about. berberis?: ÃÂ and then i saw that the ones on the side of the house are probably different from the other two. those guys were trimmed last year by about 1/3rd and i waited for them to recover but they never really did: ÃÂ lastly, this isnt a bush but it grew right next to one. i didnt plant it. it just popped up. what is this? ÃÂ sues comment "and they are bad shrubs, ...ie invasive non native ones" had me thinking that maybe i dont need to replace the bushes with exactly the same shrubs? was she talking about the possible berberis? im so grateful, by the way, for all this help. i feel encouraged!...See MoreHappy New Year - Any Cooking Resolutions for the New Year?

Comments (9)What a fun resolution! I'm a garden/outdoor girl, so my skin is not going to be what it could be. Too much time outside during the last 50+ years. I'm okay with that...but, like you, I did make a decision to take better care of what I do have. I love Estee Lauder, but in the last few years, didn't want to spend the bucks for it. I've committed to Olay...the daily moisturizer with sunscreen and...the hardest to remember...the nightly moisturizer. You'd be surprised how often I forget to wash my face and put on moisturizer before bed. (I'm just now beginning to where makeup again--new business where I deal with people.) I do tell a difference when I use this...I have dry skin and it looks more alive and fresh when I'm faithful. I'd like to add facials once a month, too. Well see how the new business grows......See MoreHappy New Year!!....New Years Resolutions...
Comments (14)Hi all! I'm new to the forums but I have an idea why this one doesn't get much response. It's not listed in any of the categories, it's only listed sort of alphabetically in the s's as The Single Life, it took me several visits to find it and I still have trouble remembering where it is on the list to click so I can lurk! Maybe someone should suggest to Spike? that it be made more visible, I know that there are a lot of singles on the forums. Just thought I'd pop in and say something and maybe someone else has had the same experience. My New Year's Resolution is to be proud of being single and not be so quiet. Happy New Year!
