I was thinking tie, too. But I can't figure out what has changed. Maybe they used to use it as a napkin and then throw it away?

A handkerchief. If someone actually carries one now like many did back in the day, they don't actually blow their nose in it anymore but instead use a tissue. The hanky is just for looks these days.

Skirts - I guess those are not accessories.

Shirt collars. I have a whole box of removable cloth dress shirt collars that belonged to my dad.

Or maybe hats, since Brylcreem isn’t so popular as it once was.
