Large master bath remodel sticker shock

Jennifer

I have been working with a remodeler on and off for about a month on the layout to get to a quote for our master bath. He just got me a quote and I am a little sticker shocked. I live in the DC / Baltimore / Annapolis metro area. Our master bathroom is large - 210 sq feet. We are not relocating the toilet or changing any walls but we are moving the shower (there was a vanity there before so there is water and a drain in the same area). The quote is for $43,000 and is just labor. The cabinets I picked are another $15k + shower glass, tile, tub, toilet, lighting, fixtures, etc. He said it would take about 4 weeks to complete. Is $10k/week reasonable for labor for a large master bath in a metro area?
