What is the red structure to the right of the entrance? Why is it red?

Great question haha it’s the wrap around decking, all a “redwood stain”. It’s quite red but looks less red in person. The steps leading up to house are concrete. Definitely able to redo any and all of the existing colors/structure

I would seek a professional landscape/hardscape plan that can then be implemented over time or as the budget allows. It seems that the sidewalk and foundation plantings are at odds with one another. The “ front porch/ door/ slash red deck” might be better coordinated.

I think the angled garage door openings bother me most. Definitely square those off and paint out the contrasting trim color around the windows and doors the white of the windows. I think I'd put in wood garage doors to match your front door. Your puppy is adorable!

beautiful door. that current green paint is horrible! just the wrong shade of green.

I like Celery's frosty gray w/black and white trim.

redo the decking in a stain that matches your door color.

if you can swing it, a metal roof for the portion over the patio would take it up a notch.

and of course, the driveway. you can have the prettiest paint on your home, but that driveway is going to take it all away!

look into a good power cleaning, etching, staining, having it redone, whatever it takes.

here are some combos to consider. see if you like any of them

Here's a peek at that type of metal roof I mentioned (you could also do this type of metal over those upper windows)

This combo would look great w/your natural wood door. bring in some wood posts, trim, garage doors, or even some shake, just to further enhance the wood door.

You have that large expanse of siding. what if you broke it up somewhere w/the same color in a composite shake, like shown here?

see how the front part was divided with upper being shake?

maybe add some stone or brick? another option is to do vertical board and batten to also break up all of the horizontal siding.
