Which has more veining? Calacatta Miraggio Gold or Calacatta Arno?
Comments (9)Look under my posts… I have pics of Calacatta Mirragio Gold. It’s been a while but I think Arno was more of a rust veining if I have the right name. The other one was gray so I’m assuming you are comparing gold and brown… the samples I saw definitely had a strong rust undertone....See MoreHas anyone used Calacatta Miraggio?
Comments (8)I have Silestone Eternal and really like it. The marble look quartz from reputable companies hold up well. be very careful w/chinese knock-offs as they often use more resin. check out MSI Calacatta Laza. it's a very nice looking quartz that works in all sorts of kitchens. Mitered edge: The mirragio is very 'bland' compared to the laza. If you want to do a patterned backsplash or something besides white cabs and white subway tile, then go w/this one. white on white on white. pretty but so overdone. This is what a chinese-made knockoff looks like...See MoreMSI Calacatta Miraggio Cielo

Comments (15)i think i would do a different color counter, so it does not look like you tried to match and failed. somewhat easier to match the b/s to the cabinets if u are set on white b/s. you can always, if budget allows, use your counter as b/s, at least on cooktop wall. looking at your layout, that would look really nice. your eye goes to the counter edge and the base cabs., so if it's off by a shade or two, or color temp, then your never going to LOVE it, and you should. this is a huge project & a lot $$$. you should walk into your kitchen and love it every single day. take your time. bring a cab door with you to stone yards. hold it onto the slabs. preferably w/o flourescent lighting, it makes everything blue :( i had my stone guy hold up an incandescent bulb on the granite. looked totally different than under flourescents.... i know u are set on quartz but u might find a granite that u love. be open to other possibilities....See MoreRelated Professionals
