Our painter has done many homes' cabinets. They use a semi-gloss and it looks great. Just not sure how long-lasting it will be. (We will probably sell in 5 years.). The veining on the Botanica is pretty light. The older version of it - when it was made in China - was much darker.

Karen, accessible beige would look awesome. Would love to see it finished if you do end up using the Prado. Prado absolutely has the warmth and brown in the vein, with some gray too. Plus, the Prado looks way more natural IMO to all the other Quartz. If you like the look of the Prado, you should also look into Vadara Quartz if it’s available near you. Vadara will be a little more $ probably. But they’re my fav manufacturer, about 75% of their colors are also extremely natural looking. Not so much of that stark artificial white, but more of a milky marble looking style. Look up Sereno Gold or Calacatta Oro. Those would also look fantastic with the beige paint. 😊

I found this thread when searching on Houzz for Calacatta Ida, just saying thanks to everyone for the information sharing! I have a few quartz colors by MSI that I'm considering (and a few by Cosmos). Since I think this thread is about a year old, I was curious if there was an updated list of the MSI quartz colors that use Breton technology, so I emailed MSI. After a few frustrating email exchanges (the customer service rep on the email had no idea what I was asking for based on her replies) someone from MSI called me and said they do not give out the list because it is proprietary information She said once I narrow down my choices I can email them a list of colors I'm considering and they will let me know which of those use Breton. She also tried to tell me that it doesn't matter if it uses Breton, all MSI quartz are covered by the same warranty, but I feel if the product is superior to begin with (and fabricated and installed correctly) there is less chance of something going wrong and needing to use the warranty! Plus in my experience, many companies make it very hard to use the warranty, they come up with excuses. Just my opinion. Again thanks to all contributors on this post, very helpful with my decision making! :-)

Have you looked at something like a Taj Mahal quartzite? It would work with your cabinet color - may be more $ than the quartz but a better overall look IMO. Or a honed jet mist granite (which should be less $ than the quartz) if you have good lighting. Just search both here and you’ll get lots of images.
