Too much of a good thing?
Comments (32)I really do need the extra storage! I think if it's 42" from the sink that it will greatly enhance my work zone adding so much additional counter space. I would only put stools where the one is in the photo and where the window is, so out of the work zone. Where that stool is now would be a 36" cabinet that I could store items that are used infrequently. The sink side would be for the kitchen aid, vitamix, cuisinart, juicer and cutting boards etc. My cabinets are still in really good condition and are maple. I thought staining them dark would be too much darkness so my only other option is to paint them or replace them. My budget is only $20,000 so don't think replacement is possible....See MoreColor Palette for interior to match MSI quartz Calacatta Laza/Concerto
Comments (12)So we decided on the following SW colors- Dover White- trim Mindful Gray- main color Dovetail-Master bedroom Naval- dining room (that will have 64" judges panel in Dover White) I still have to decide on Master bath which I may just keep Mindful Gray, and my kids' rooms. We lived abroad for many years and have several antique Asian furniture pieces, art and paintings with vivid colors and patterns so I want to keep walls and counter tops neural. Thank you everyone!...See MoreWall Paint for Kitchen with Calacatta Laza
Comments (13)@Debbi Washburn Hi Debbi, I really wanted a shade of blue, but I did not take the risk. We went with BM Edgecomb Gray. Surprisingly, it's a little light for our space, but it doesn't look bad. We may try BM Revere Pewter a little later. Who knows, I may go bold and try the blue, or I may just try a BS that includes blue. I have seen a blue tile BS with the laza, and it was beautiful. Thanks for your feedback....See Moresw pure white or BM white dove with Msi laza
Comments (10)The cabinet doors haven’t been installed yet, only the bases. I wanted a white that goes with my countertop, and felt the color pure white blended the best with my cabinets. I have 2-3 weeks for my kitchen to complete, so I’m not sure how it’ll look yet. I still need to pick my backsplash and wall colors, and pulls/knobs. I have decision fatigue. I highly suggest getting colors from Samplize to compare with your countertop and when you settle on one or two colors, have your cabinet maker make you a sample door in that color to compare with the countertop. I liked SW pure white bc it looks white, White Dove looked pink to me. It’s really popular though. Good luck!!...See MoreG G
