Yes, I went through the online warehouse last night, but the trestle table is not shown. Neither are any of the pieces DD2 purchased. I would think any piece could be ordered and drop shipped from the manufacturer. The owner of At Home also owns another store across the street, Three Sheets, and I have had them order bedding, accent pillows and lighting before when they haven't had them in the store. Her brother owns a cabin home store a few doors up from At Home, so this family has a big niche in our local market. Many own lakehouses/second homes and go into the stores to furnish those homes. Oh, heck no, and I don't think that they need to be similar in tone, either... contrast is good, lest you get the "tried to match and missed" look, which is very much not good. That goes double if you're furnishing with antiques/vintage items. I have a pretty small living room (approx 12x16 if we're being optimistic!) and not one thing matches anything else. The coffee table is nutmeg-stained maple, rectangular with porringer corners and big drawers, sort of country-Victorian-inspired. One side table is a 30" round tea table in cherry-stained quartersawn oak in typical reproduction Mission style. Another is a small antique Arts & Crafts period 16" round tabouret table, quartersawn oak in a chocolatey brown finish (fumed oak). The last is a little bitty 12" square blonde ashwood table with slightly curvy legs, rather more modern than the other items although I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a certain style of mahogany or walnut Victorian bookstand end table to come along in-budget (aka cheap LOL). I have a large backless upholstered bench that's too modern in style for this old house and is on my list of things to sell - once I do I plan to replace it with a wing chair and I think the small copper-topped fumed-oak trestle coffee table would fit underneath the window next to where the chair would go. What makes everything play nicely together is that it's all from (or reproduced from) the same time period, the turn of the 19th-20th century.

Why yes, I does :). I have a black coffee table with a lot of brown in the room. Leather couch/chairs and wooden tables and miscellaneous pieces like the tv shelf. My table is from Thomasville. Actually, it's your sofa on the left facing the chairs and possibly the love seat that need a table. The sofa facing the love seat has tables on each side therefore one in front isn't really necessary. You could take the table from your last layout, rotate it and place it closer to the sofa facing the chairs. Place a small table (very small) or garden stool to the right of the love seat for that person to place a drink on. Another option would be two storage ottomans that can be moved around depending on where someone is sitting. If the tops are firm enough a glass can be set on them when your feet aren't!! ;)
