Comments (6)I'm getting the Medallion, Brookhill, for the kitchen and something a little different for the master bathroom, haven't decided on powder room yet as I want to pick out the limestone first and then the cabinet after that. HD seemed pleased with the construction, etc. Had Brookhaven and Woodmode in my previous home, was very happy with them but the KD told me I would double the price so........... Originally started out with someone our builder uses, custom, but I didn't like his design at all, changed things, asked for a certain thing, he ignored me and I wasn't thrilled with him. Then the builder told me that he has a hard time dealing with women, they should be seen and not heard and apparently the builder's wife had a problem with him as well and finally told him it was HER kitchen and she wanted the dishwashers where she wanted them, etc. So we went elsewhere and KD showed us Medallion.................See MoreDecor vs Koch vs DeWils cabinets; so confusing!
Comments (5)Make sure to put in just one l when you search for DeWils. We got DeWils and are extremely happy with them. They delivered exactly what was ordered, well packed (no shipping damage). There were a couple of minor errors on what was ordered - one ours and one our GC's error. The replacement doors and drawer fronts were shipped out quickly - I think it was a couple of weeks. DeWils comes in at the low side of high end or high side of mid range cabinets - plywood boxes, full-extension soft-close drawer hardware and dovetail (or a choice between dovetail or metal drawers in their frameless line) are standard. Also they allow customization to some extent - cabinet height and width can be ordered to the inch (but not fraction of an inch, I think). Drawer front height could be ordered to 1/8" (or maybe 1/16") and was a pretty reasonable charge. We ordered all our drawer stacks with custom height to get exactly the storage we wanted....See MoreCabinet manufacturers: Corsi cabinets vs. Masterbrand
Comments (3)Thank you Michael! Right now we're planning to go Greenfield for our island and Siteline for the rest. Would love to do all Greenfield but need some tradeoffs to stay within budget. Our island will require a panel to close the back end of the island and know that the Greenfield will give us a clean look. Their cabinets are like furniture!...See MoreRelated Professionals
