Windows Design Dilemma Exterior

Exterior design help with black windows

So we are getting ready to have new windows and siding installed on the house. I would like to go with black exterior windows and the iron gray hardi plank siding with white trim. the house is Brick and siding though. So the casement windows on th brick will not have trim around them but the ones on the siding will. So some will be outlined with white trim and some not....I feel like this will look weird and unfinished. Any thoughts, advice, suggestions, pictures. Please help me with this design dilemma! Do go with a different color siding and no white trim around windows?

PS: I would also choose new modern font numbers for your home and more modern looking porch furniture. And paint your front door a bold modern color.

Does anyone know a window company/manufacturer in the Atlanta area they would recommend for black interior/black exterior windows? I do not want wood--do not want the upkeep. We did a house remodel that just finished and replaced some of the windows. I dislike the wood interior which we had to paint and it's only been a few months and it is already chipping and is extremely sensitive to any "use". I want a window that I can install and not worry about again...for a while. But it has to be black/black. I'm open for any suggestions and not married to any brand. Thank you.

If its me and I knew I would be changing the color, I would pick out the color coil that I wanted to use as part of the palette changes, get a paint blended up at a paint store, paint the sunburst pediments with that paint, and then have the window changed out and the trim capped with the matching coil.

Its beautiful just the way it is. I wouldnt change a thing. White on that house would not look very nice. It needs the darker colors it has, because of the brick or shingles(cant tell which it is from the picture) and the style of the house.

I would not do vinyl, and I would not do double hung. The first is poor quality that doesn't last. The second is inappropriate to your house, which is very cute! I would replace with aluminum clad wood casement windows with a dark chocolate or black exterior cladding. Have you looked in to fixing your windows? Wood windows last hundreds of years with proper upkeep, IDK about windows manufactured when your house was built, though.

I would lose the shutters and just let the house be modern. The casement windows, massing, and the whole gable end are not traditional at all. At that point black windows with grey siding would work well, I would paint the window trim black as well

I agree with the above. If your doing black windows. Do back trim. Iron gray is cool. I like the idea but just something to think about- it’s trendy. It may not be cool in a couple....

No white anything with what you have selected. BTW, I like your choices. Go with the modern look of your home. NO Shutters!
