Exterior Renovation Costs (Everlast) Any thoughts
Comments (15)I am just outside of providence RI. I finally hired a contractor, they are starting on May 17th 2021. The total contract is 54K. The entire house is being totally stripped and all trim is being replaced with PVC and 7" Everlast composite siding is being installed. Ended up going with Lowes (after I verified who the subcontractor would be). Lowes was a bit lower in price than other contractor's Hardie board prices and I personally think Everlast is a better product. The team at Lowes has been great to work with so far but I will certainly keep you posted on that. Ill post some before and after photos! looking forward to FINALLY getting this project done!...See MoreExterior Renovation Ideas?
Comments (5)Foundation planting of evergreen shrubs suited for your growing zone. Hang some ferns from the porch (or other hanging baskets depending on the light). Make sure the front door is a bright color and ensure there’s a good light by the front door. New house numbers easily found when driving by. It’s a nice looking house!...See MoreNeed advice on exterior renovation
Comments (2)I dont think the house looks short. It looks fairly normal for a house with a basement. Its a cute house. It just looks a bit blah, at the moment. Nice roof. A porch, might be a nice feature, or at least some type of roof over the front door, for people to stand at and not get all wet, or full of snow. The rest can be done with landscaping, and some pots with flowers (when it isnt snowing). The front door could be painted a nice bright cheery color of your choice, as long as it goes with your red roof....See MoreSimple Exterior Renovations - Need Advice
