Finished Bathroom Pics (two bathrooms!)--very pic heavy
Comments (41)Wooo!!! Cat, I am stuck at home because of the snow storm so wandered around here not looking at anything in particular and came upon your thread. I totally agree with you on the shower curtain choice. Regardless of whether I have the money to spare or not, keeping those suckers clean is a nuisance over time. We have a glass shower door that was installed back in 2003 and I can't tell you how much I hate cleaning it. Not that the door is all that dirty, but a shower curtain is way easier, and you can change the look/style whenever you feel like it. Can't do that with a pricey shower door. Anyway, everything looks lovely as usual, including the "prom" dress :-) Love, love those circular tiles, and the floor tiles that look like fabric. Gorgeous. What colour is that again? It looks greyish on my monitor....See MoreBenjamin Moore color assist for bathroom--
Comments (22)Oh my! I thought that was granite! Maybe it's the same that I saw at that house afterall! Well what ever it is, it's very pretty, I like it alot. Glad the color suggestion might be the one, colors can be very different on the screen, so if it doesn't work out at least you've got a direction to go in. I love your flooring, we have just installed a slate in our bathroom that looks very much like that. Smaller tiles can be very busy looking. Those are 12x12's right? Larger tile can help a room to look more spacious, and from what I can tell, it would look great in the that sized room. You may want to consider using the 12x12's instead. Looks like you've got a beautiful plan. Now that you know how to post pictures, I hope you share the after pics as well! Good Luck! -- Lukki...See MoreAssistance with RECESSED bathroom lighting
Comments (1)Hi Rich, The can is the housing which is mounted above your sheet rock. The trim is what you're going to see when you're in your bathroom. I don't understand your first paragraph. Is that different fixture than the recessed? As for the recessed, I like low voltage halogen fixtures for bathrooms. The light quality is superior to incandescent and fluorescent. The size is also smaller (3.5" or 4"). You can also get bulbs for these fixtures which last 20,000 hours. So the life span is wonderful. Hope this helps....See MoreCan you help me finish decorating my bathroom
Comments (3)I envision a British West Indies feel to compliment its style - light bamboo blinds to match door, white or soft blue towels, plant and candles on bathtub ledge Given the corner niche make up area, suggest mirrors running from end to end. You could even frame in and stain to match cabinetry. I would use a dark rattan chair to compliment counters. - if interested in BWI look....See MoreHALLETT & Co.
