another facebook issue even for those not on facebook
Comments (12)unfortunately no Mike it could be enemies or those frienimies that once were friends and are no longer, often times they would do things like that simply because they can and they know it would be upsetting. Those people likely would not honor a request to please not do that. Or people that just get off on being A-holes they seem to be abundant. Also some people have been in groups or clubs etc and are no longer part of them, pictures of groups end up and not everyone in the group pic said it was ok to plaster their image every where. In fact I have been in pictures as a by stander and found my pic, had no idea it was there was never asked to be in a picture or to have it posted. Used to they had to ask permission to use your pictures and get signed release forms. Not to mention just being the polite thing to do. the thing about facebook is the opt out feature not opt in which makes if a bit different ballgame....See Moretown watch-neighborhood watch??
Comments (9)Thanks guys! As far as the FB page, I am going to let him stay on. He only posted the stats-no other posts and I've been told he is really a good guy so I will let him stay so long as he understands that we are not the police...we simply call dispatch when we hear or see something unusual. For the most part we are encouraging folks to just get out and intoduce yourself to your neighbors. Say hello amd a quick wave ect...we do not want to interfere with anyones privacy! Heck no!! LOL We are sponsered by the county police since Napa does not have a police force of our own (yup no cops) we actually we share the cops with the next town. WE've been assigned a captain who attends all meetings and posts the crime report. He's a no nonsence guy!! We have a start up budget of $500 which will pay for town watch signs and banners. We will have to have fundraising to do anything else. One member is part of the school board so he has been sending out info with the kids to take home. I started the FB page as well as posting the meetings on the county TV channel info scroll. I also posted to a website I belong to called the Women of Gloucester and lastly I put an ad in the 2 area papers. Another member is posting it in his church bulletin. I was "thinkin" about making magnets for the fridge with our numbers on them to hand out. The actual magnets are at the craft store for abour $2.00 for 12 and I can do the printing at home. Me personally, I'd like to see this all get off the ground this month so we'll be ready once the nice weather hits!! Cheers! Comments (61)My Husband is not interested in me but wants sex ..i feel am used only for sex. He says he loves me but from the beginning of our marriage he has no interest in me he has no topic to talk to me but i have seen him talking happily with other women as if they hadn't seen for ages. Even with his male friends he talks lot. But what he talks to me is ....did u had lunch, or had fud...he treats me like a strange.r he is interested in others but not in me. All he wants is sex. If I give him sex he stays till he gets it and after sex ask me to sleep in my room. if don't give him sex he has no time to spent with me. I feel like a real life prostitute. He never said me a truth. Eg..he is an add filim director...since marriage he said he has no contact number of any models....but his phone was full of girls phone numbers. And only a few male phone numbers. Which he claimed to be his childhood friends. I recently found out that it was of 50% to 40% models numbers. He never introduced me to any friends. And if there is any friends marriage he avoids me, saying who am i to come or that only he was called. When I ask he says its non of my business. I feel a stranger in his life. He always has explanation for what ever he does... Once i saw a lady is friend when came to our house and when my husband and she was talking she touched my husband's thighs many times.. And she sits so close that i get irritated... When I asked him why he dint react . he said that it was her culture and that I was small hearted...he says its non my business. Am an Indian woman and my culture is not that. He goes in the morning for work comes back at 8pm , 12pm .and if c he comes early he goes to see his friends. He says he hardly sees them but he sees me daily , but he sees his friends daily....!!!! We never had a honeymoon trip in our life. But he enjoys his life. Goes for long trips with friends. I feel avoided and rejected he loves watching prone and he comments on other women's sexual part . he even commented about one of my cousin sister's breast. I feel offended . what should I do am 4 months pregnant too.......See MoreFor those of you on Facebook
Comments (8)Fluffy doesn't really come from the flour. Tough comes from overhandling any kind of flour, and a lot faster the more protein it has, so if you're making rolled and/or folded biscuits, a "heavier" or "stronger" flour will develop more gluten, and tighten up your dough. If you can't find a specifically soft wheat brand like Martha White or White Lily, you can buy pastry flour which is essentially the same thing, or get some cake flour and mix it with your AP. If you want it to be self-rising you can add baking powder and salt to it. The standard formula is one cup AP flour + 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder + 1/4 tsp. salt. It's probably the same if you use use softer flour, but you can adjust to suit yourself. King Arthur self rising has a similar protein content to White Lily, but most others, including Martha White (MW self rising is stronger than White Lily), have more protein. You can't tell the actual protein content from the nutrition info, because of rounding error. The chart on The Fresh Loaf, by Antilope (scroll down to the post) is invaluable. For fluffy biscuits with AP flour, look for posts by Trailrunner. Basically, use a lot of liquid (buttermilk), handle as little as possible, and bake in a hot oven. :)...See Moreglenda_al
