I would not order from lighting universe again. I won't go into the story because it's boring and I don't have time, but they sent me a broken light and the customer service is no good. They wanted me to fix it. They wouldn't let me exchange for a different light without charging a restocking and shipping fee. That seems excessive since I wouldn't need a different light if the light had worked in the first place. They seem to be a clearing house or something.

There are some nice tiles featured, I just love the thick beveled look of the WZ tile. --aliceinwonderland, DH also thinks we should just wait on the backsplash. I just know how things usually go in our house...if it's not done NOW, sometimes it doesn't get done! Everytime we save up money for a certain project, something comes up...so I'd love to have it done and included in the price of the house. --redroze, I have no idea what our floors are. It breaks my heart because I "ordered" Brazilian Teak (or Cumaru) from a hardwood supplier over the internet...and what we recieved doesn't look anything like it should. We're building long-distance and our GC says that the boxes were labeld Red Cumaru...and they started installation even though the wood didn't match any of the pictures I'd emailed them with the variation of color in the wood. The floors are pretty...I just hope that whatever they are will hold up well for us over the years.

I think your choice is beautiful. I have the creamy white cabinets on the perimeter with Hanstone Magellan counter. On the website it looks really dark, but it is a lovely grey pattern which doesn't show anything (dust, food) and is not too shiny. My island is a red stained wood (similar to mahogany in colour). I chose Zodiaq Bianca Carerra. I love each of them equally. I have had them for almost 2 years now and have thrown just about everything at them (messy and kids aren't any neater) and they look like brand new. I think anything you choose you will LOVE.
