Comments (2)Decorating a small apartment on an even smaller budget can be a tricky task. The goal is to create a living area that is comfortable, and enjoyable, while at the same time maximizing your space, and minimizing the amount of cash spent on the whole design project....See MoreHelp Furnishing Apartment with Floor-to-Ceiling Windows
Comments (5)Hmmm... I like your color scheme idea, but it could be fun to add a couple easy pops of color, maybe a bright throw pillow and vase? Unfortunately, I doubt you have room for the dining table and desk. You could probably squeeze in a desk if you really wanted to, but not a dining table, unless you're thinking of a small dining table for two people. However, you said you're minimalists, and I think the room would look very crowded that way, which you probably wouldn't end up liking. For living room furniture placement, place your tv on the one wall that isn't windows, then place your couch facing it. You can place chairs on the other wall of windows, and parallel to those chairs (sorry if this is confusing). I think you'll be able to keep the views just fine, I don't think there will be a major problem with the windows being blocked. As for the pillars, just work around them, incorporating them will just look awkward. In regards of the furniture you already own, I think that you can definitely use every piece in your apartment, except for maybe the tv stand, and not the first linked light. The light is much too big for the room, and will block your windows. Is it possible for you to get your tv mounted? If not, maybe a less dark tv stand would look better, but yours is good, too. I feel the nesting tables are a bit too dark, but that's just me. I love the tv stand and couch, the bar stools are perfect, and if you do end up doing the dining table, I like the set. The dresser for the bedroom is also nice. Hope I helped....See MoreHow do you furnish a small room that is a living room/kitchen combo?
Comments (4)You gotta draw it on graph paper, and then cut out pieces the size of an apartment couch, etc., and move them around. My first idea is couch facing windows with a cafe table behind the couch, and TV in the corner. You could also try couch floating with it's back to the fridge wall and bedroom hallway, and a TV on the bottom wall with a dropleaf table there too (chairs on left and top sides). It might be more flexible to try arranging 2-3 small armchairs instead of a couch, as easier to allow walkways and still have a conversational arrangement possible......See MoreNeed your help with very small beach apartment renovation.
Comments (6)Thanks @decoenthusiaste. Unfortunately, the bed doesn't fit in the closet space and we need the bedside tables for our CPAP machines so the closet around the bed option is also not workable. I've had to compromise the closet space (yet 215cm is not so small) for increased storage space in the kitchen next to the fridge for supplies, brooms, and a vacuum. I've been trying to find a solution for the computer storage, something like a cubby to push it into but that takes up table space. I've already asked the kitchen company if they can add a pull-out table like this to the top drawer of the closest cabinet so we can sit across from each other when the weather is not so great....See More54ndy b34ch
