Comments (44)Shirley- thanks for the information-I traded for six years on a few sites but none of those names seems familiar. I took some time off, [ still planting of course] but didn't do any trades, except with family and friends locally. I really miss trading with online friends as I learned so much and received varieties I had never even heard of. It was a great experience and much fun. I don't post all day everyday as I work a lot of hours and now I have a grand baby that I try to spend my extra time with. I will watch for the April exchange. We have unseasonable warm weather so I have the itch early. I didn't do any winter sowing, now I regret it. I was organizing my seeds al day yesterday...it sure was fun. I am looking forward to getting to know and share seeds/plants with you~...See Moreupdate: obf white elephant march swap
Comments (150)Hello ladies and happy every Holiday I missed. To those of you who do know me, I am back and mentally back on track (I think). To those of you who don't, well I was I am a member, love everyone here. Went away to do some great mission work and had some very tragic things happen. Many hours of therapy later, and actually returning to the Dominican I think I have healed, I am not bitter, sad, or frightened to leave my house any more. I am able to talk about it and I feel that I can share with postive feelings now. But enough of that. Am I to late for April? Please tell me that I can play in April? Max is 4 and we just looked at Co-op preschool. HE is a mama's boy and didn't want to go to big boy school yet. Maryanne~ I have a box for you that I need to send, but um lost your address.. So Merry Christmas when it comes. Ahh. I just don't know what to say or who to say it to because I am scared I will leave someone out. I tried to read as many posts as my brain can handle, but I am sure that I will need some help. Babies and ornaments, tornados and ahhh.. I am not in Kansas anymore. Please feel free to email me with any personals that you'd love to share. I apologize for being gone so long. If there is anything that you want to know email me. If I need to re-join let me know if there is room. Mayanne_ my big sis.. I hope all is well, miss you and thanks for all your support thru this, even though I was a bad lil sis and became an introvert. But guess what? I am back and better. Missed you all Laura.... beans...See MoreNEW: obf *** ' oct seed swap'
Comments (139)Hi All, I got the pkg. ready to go to Beth DC #0305 1720 0002 5542 3155. I'll be going to the post office this afternoon. I took out 16 pkts. and added 120 pkts. So all you ladies will have a good start to the second go round. I ran out of paper pkts., so thank you to whomever put some in there because I used them : ) I took the garden book, thank you to whomever put that in there. The life preserver wall hanging came to me broke, but it can be reglued so I left it in the box. I added a few goodies including Kleenex, lol. It is a good box cushion/filler! I still have hardly made a dent in the case Gary won. Remy...See MoreNew: OBF Nov. Swap - Thanksgiving Treats
Comments (93)Welcome, Rose and Faye! Very happy to have you join our group. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We have eaten Thanksgiving here at home for years and years and years and years... anyway, you get the picture. This year our younger daughter in Durham wanted to have Thanksgiving at her house. Because of our pets, it's really hard to get away, but we took the dog and spent 9 hours or a little longer in the car and ate with them this year. The food was great and she had set her table so pretty and all. It would have been nice to be able to stay there overnight or something and gotten more of a visit, but normally we both do not leave home at once so we can keep the arrangements normal for our pets. (Those of you with family close by, be thankful! If you have family who will take care of your pets so you can travel, be even more thankful! LOL) We have horses and a cat as well as the dog so about 13 hours was as long as we could be gone. You can bet there were some hungry horses and a hungry cat when we got home! For a few years after he retired and they moved near us, my dad would take care of the pets for us for a few days so we could get away. Wow, was that a luxury! Now to plan what to do today... maybe some online shopping? I sure don't want to mingle with the crowds in the stores. Once in a while I will shop later in the day on the Friday after Thanksgiving, but I will not get up super early and do it. I much rather be sleeping and have no clue what anyone wants for Christmas anyway. "Browsing" at 4 a.m. is not my idea of fun. LOL Enjoy your day! Jeanne...See MoreSoLovelyLily
