We don't have Kelly Moore paints up in my region here but in my humble opinion all manufacturers make a good top line paint. No one manufacturer has proprietary information on making a high quality product. So in my opinion yes benjamin moore makes good products in their regal line for walls. Aura bath and spa for bathrooms is really really good as well. But the top line products at a select paint retailer are priced accordingly as to their performance.

We chose BM because (1) our tract builder used SW everywhere and it's junk, and (2) SW wouldn't sell us sample pots. No experience with KM, sorry!

Our experience with the quality of the paint *and* the customer service (locally owned mom & pop) keeps us going back to BM. We've purchased from at least 3 of their lines: ben, Regal Select, and Aura Bath & Spa. No complaints. :-)

My contractor preferred either Benjamin Moore or Kelly Moore, and a paint pro we used a while back used Kelly Moore. So the local pros seem to think is is quality paint.

Having had all three in different homes, my fav by far is Kelly Moore. The durability was so much better for us than the other two. If I ever build again, it will be the only paint we use.

I have always been happy with Sherwin Williams. We don't have Kelly Moore here.

I usually love SW, but twice in the last few years we’ve gotten stinky Emerald paint. I’ll never use it again. The paint went on beautifully, and then several days later developed a weird, stomach turning odor. In each case, I had to prime the walls with an odor blocking primer and repaint. One of those times I had hired a professional to paint, so I was out that few hundred bucks plus my time and aggravation. SW gave me paint to repaint with each time, and the first time it turned out okay, but the second room it was stinky again. That second space was painted once by the professional, then I primed, painted with the replacement paint which was still stinky, then had to re-prime and paint again with BM. After painted with BM the stink hasn’t returned. We have lost square footage in that room, I swear.
