Ripening some tomatoes inside?

I'm pulling my tomato plants. In the past, I had hung them upside down on a clothes line in my relatively dark basement, the remaining tomatoes managed to ripen. I don't have such a space any more. I've got quite a few. Any ideas that might work? Hard for me to find a totally dark storage space that is also warm . . . I've wrapped them in newspaper and put them in a dark cupboard before too, but I have so many to individually wrap and not a huge dark empty storage cabinet anymore, the last one was in the former basement that I mentioned and now I live in a small one story with limited storage . . . I've already canned green tomato salsa. Don't really want or need the pickles or pickailili. Not into the chutney or fake apple pie filling either. Any other ideas?
