I agree, but Houzz would have had to have a separate server to retain all those posts. I guess it set a time limit and space limit on retained posts, so we lost a ton, but every now and then, I see some older posts pop up from someone's search. I think they did away with all the 90s and only kept those from the 2000s, because I've seen a few pop up from 2003 and 2005. Sadly, the early days were the best, when there were so many more members and so much great information.

I haven't been able to figure out how to search for things on houzz. I just use Google. I found one of the idylls conversation on Google: used the search words; perennials idylls # 331 https://www.houzz.com/discussions/idyll-331-as-the-aloe-spirals-dsvw-vd~1556717

Someone on Home Decorating Conversations thought Houzz was deleting threads and it looks as if they were right. Maybe that's the answer to what was happening with the disappearing threads and posts here. I'm sure there were people who flagged things at times, but seems like it was mostly Houzz. We better behave ourselves people - no politics ( yay ! ) and no name calling. I'm looking forward to peaceful interaction again.
