Thank you for replying, Patricia. I do not currently have access to post more photos, however, perhaps this detailed answer will help! I am happy to answer more questions, if need be.

Style: traditional. A lot of beige finishes, including the furniture, floor tile and window shades.

Furniture: Beige microfiber, oversized, puffy, ridiculous and 15 years old. The side tables are the same cherry-like finish as the trim in the house. I am not changing the furniture, as it is not in my budget. There is no wall art to compete with. This room will contain couch, end table and tv.

Fireplace: gas. I turn it on once a year just to blow the dust out.

I would paint a cream color. What about Sherwin Wiliams Decor white (7559). Do you know the name of wall color paint?

Don’t paint the tile.

The tile is nice, why would you want to paint it??

I actually think the tile would look more cohesive painted the same color, even though it is different sizes and textures. Regular paint won't do, however. You will need an epoxy paint, and the only one I know of is Rustoleum Tub and Tile paint. It comes in white, almond, and bisque. Regular paint would peel off quickly.
