Once you get your cabinets painted, start a new thread with photos if you don't get much traction on this thread. Us visual people rather see the whole picture which includes countertops & flooring than having to use our imagination of what your kitchen might look like and then lead you down the wrong path.

I'm in the middle of a kitchen renovation very similar to yours (white cabinets, blue\gray island, brass) and went with Rejuvenation hardware and faucets in aged brass. Great quality and feel and provides warmth to the room.

what do the cabs look like? you're asking for suggestions without any pictures.

are you doing pendant lighting or faucets in brass? try and match those

@typeandrun how do you like the quality of Emtek? is it easy to maintain? I don't want to do a lot of maintenance and polishing of kitchen hardware. Is it lacquered or protected? Thanks!

@3marshview, it looks the same as when it was installed a year ago. I feel quality of emtek is top notch. On occasion I wipe with a damp paper towel if my grandkiddos have sticky hands and open/close a cabinet.
