Hard to tell from the picture but if the cedar is natural or just stained, I say leave it. It looks cool. I would paint the yellow maybe a spruce type green or slate blue/grey. I would also take off the shutters on the two windows. Maybe a navy? For paint. And then paint or replace both the garage and front door to a stained brown. Remove the storm door if you can Some other suggestions if you like, you can skip otherwise: Maybe new lighting , definitely landscape. Possibly enlarge the garage and maybe brick up the walkway. I’m sure you considered some of these ideas... cute house. Has potential. Looking forward to watch it change.

Kiimela, it just depends on how white you want the white. Alabaster and greek villa are warmer whites that lean a little yellow. make sure to get some samples and bring them home. I did these three on my home, with the Swiss Coffee (Behr) on my stucco. See how dull the swiss coffee looks against a bright white? But,,, this is how bright the white turned out on the stucco! Also have a rental house w/Swiss Coffee and black trim. (Behr colors) It's a nice combo. consider getting a new front door though. if you must keep yours, paint the entire door and side lites black or red. I'd prob just go w/Pure White if you're picking SW colors, for your place. Paired here w/Hale Navy, both of those would look nice. Or do the charcoal. just do a dark color for the trim against the white

I did it! I thought you might like to see it! All paint is from Kelly Moore… the board and batten is in Porpoise; the shingles are in Urbane Bronze and the trim is in Chopsticks. What do you think? I had so many colors I had to consider in the stone, the grout, the deck, the roof… it was tough!
